For one thing, she was right, clearly now, more than half of the world's population of surfers visit networking websites, which are internet sites based on the interaction between the user and the internet, and between users and other users. That is the main idea with web 2. Back then, websites were just sites wherein you would be looking through information. But now, besides reading, it is possible to interact with the web, and also with the other users and with other surfers.
